阿里山神木（Alishan Sacred Trees）

阿里山森林遊樂區以巨大的紅檜群聞名，區內有多棵千年以上的古木。原本的「阿里山神木」（紅檜，樹齡約 3,000 年）於 1997 年倒塌，現以「阿里山香林神木」（樹齡約 2,300 年）為代表。

巨木群棧道是遊園重點，分為第一巨木群棧道（約 600 公尺）和第二巨木群棧道（約 400 公尺），沿途可近距離觀賞數十棵千年紅檜。森林中瀰漫芬多精，空氣清新怡人。

English Introduction

Alishan Forest Recreation Area is famous for its ancient red cypress (Hinoki) trees, many over a thousand years old. The original “Alishan Sacred Tree” (a 3,000-year-old red cypress) toppled in 1997. The current representative is the “Alishan Xianglin Sacred Tree,” estimated at 2,300 years old.

The Giant Tree Boardwalk is the main attraction, divided into two sections (600m and 400m), where visitors walk among dozens of ancient red cypress trees. The forest air is rich with phytoncides (natural aromatherapy compounds), creating a refreshing atmosphere.
