慈恩塔（Ci’en Pagoda）

慈恩塔位於日月潭畔的沙巴蘭山上，海拔約 954 公尺，是蔣中正為紀念母親王太夫人所建，1971 年落成。塔高 46 公尺，加上山高剛好使塔頂海拔達到 1,000 公尺整。

從停車場步行至塔約 10–15 分鐘（約 570 公尺步道），沿途林蔭茂密。登塔頂可 360 度環視日月潭全景，是拍攝日月潭最佳制高點。

English Introduction

Ci’en Pagoda stands on Shabalan Mountain beside Sun Moon Lake, built by Chiang Kai-shek in 1971 in memory of his mother. The 46-meter pagoda, combined with the mountain’s elevation, brings its peak to exactly 1,000 meters above sea level.

A 570-meter shaded trail from the parking lot leads to the pagoda (10–15 minute walk). Climbing to the top rewards visitors with a 360-degree panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake — the best elevated vantage point for photography.
