中正紀念堂（Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall）

中正紀念堂是為紀念中華民國前總統蔣中正而建，1980 年落成。白色大理石外牆搭配八角形藍色琉璃瓦屋頂，是台北最具代表性的地標之一。

堂內四樓有蔣中正銅像，每小時整點有儀隊交接儀式，是最受遊客歡迎的看點。一樓展廳陳列蔣中正生平文物。廣場上的自由廣場牌樓、國家音樂廳和國家戲劇院形成壯闊的建築群。

English Introduction

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall was built in 1980 to honor the former President of the Republic of China. Its white marble walls and blue-glazed octagonal roof make it one of Taipei’s most iconic landmarks.

Inside, a large bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek sits on the 4th floor, where the popular Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place every hour on the hour. The surrounding Liberty Square features the National Concert Hall and National Theater, forming an impressive architectural ensemble.
