台南孔廟建於 1665 年（明鄭時期），是全台灣第一座孔廟，有「全臺首學」之稱。由鄭成功之子鄭經下令建造，不僅是祭祀孔子的廟宇，更是台灣最早的官方學府。

園區古木參天，氣氛莊嚴寧靜。大成殿是主體建築，供奉孔子牌位。入口處的「全臺首學」匾額是最知名的拍照點。周邊的府中街（孔廟商圈）有許多特色小店和文青咖啡。

English Introduction

The Tainan Confucius Temple, built in 1665, is Taiwan’s very first Confucius Temple — earning it the title “First Academy of Taiwan” (全臺首學). Commissioned by Zheng Jing (son of Koxinga), it served as both a temple honoring Confucius and Taiwan’s first official school.

The tranquil grounds are shaded by ancient trees. The Dacheng Hall is the main structure housing the Confucius spirit tablet. The famous “First Academy of Taiwan” plaque at the entrance is the most photographed spot. The nearby Fuzhong Street offers charming shops and cafes.
