安平古堡（Anping Old Fort）

安平古堡原名熱蘭遮城（Fort Zeelandia），1624 年由荷蘭東印度公司建造，是台灣最古老的城堡，也是荷蘭統治台灣的行政中心。1662 年鄭成功攻下此城，結束荷蘭 38 年的統治。

現存遺跡包括部分城牆殘跡（內城南牆）和瞭望台。園區內的安平古堡紀念館展示荷蘭時期至近代的歷史文物，頂層瞭望台可遠眺安平港和台灣海峽。

English Introduction

Anping Old Fort, originally named Fort Zeelandia, was built by the Dutch East India Company in 1624 — making it Taiwan’s oldest fortress and the Dutch colonial administrative center. Koxinga captured the fort in 1662 after a nine-month siege, ending 38 years of Dutch rule.

Remaining structures include parts of the inner city wall and a watchtower. The on-site museum traces history from the Dutch period to modern times. The observation deck atop the watchtower offers views of Anping Harbor and the Taiwan Strait.
